Overview
This article provides a step-by-step guide for Confluence administrators to locate pages where the Advanced Tables for Confluence app macros are used in the cloud instance.
Instructions
Step 1: Log in as a Confluence Administrator
Ensure you have administrative privileges to access the required settings.
Step 2: Navigate to settings
Click the Settings (⚙️) icon in the top right corner of the Confluence interface.
In the left-side panel, under SETTINGS, go to Data Management > Macro usage.
Select ‘Macro Usage’ within the ‘Data Management' section, as illustrated in the screenshot below:
Step 3: View macro usage details
In the All macros section, you will see a list of macros used in your Confluence instance.
Locate the macro names associated with the Advanced Tables app, such as:
table-plus
attachment-table
CSV
json-table
Click on the macro names to view a list of all pages where the selected macro is used.
Step 4: Analyze macro usage
The macros are grouped since they utilize XHTML content. This grouping lets you quickly identify all pages where the Advanced Tables macros are used.
If you do not find any entries related to "Advanced Tables" under Macro usage, these macros are not currently used within your Confluence Cloud environment.
By following the above steps, you can efficiently monitor the usage of the Advanced Tables for the Confluence app cloud macros. This information assists in auditing and helps determine the app's relevance within your organization.
