Scenario

Customize the style of the LaTeX Math Block in your business report using the global configuration

Steps

The following steps demonstrate how to customize the LaTeX Math Block macro using the Global Configuration features.

1️⃣  

Step 1

As a Confluence user

  1. Navigate to the documentation page and click edit.

  2. Go to the content where you need to insert the formula.

  3. Type ‘/' and search for the LaTeX Math Block macro or use the '+’ option in the main toolbar and search for the LaTeX Math Block macro.

  4. Select the LaTeX Math Block macro.

 


2️⃣  

Step 2

Specify the equation

  1. Type the equation in LaTeX formatted math. A preview is generated.

  2. Choose the alignment from the drop-down menu.

  3. Click Insert.

  4. Click Publish.

 


3️⃣  

Step 3

Customize the LaTeX Math Block macro

  1. Go to Apps > Manage apps > LaTeX Math > Configure.
    or
    Go to Apps > Manage apps > Configuration (Left-hand side menu bar) > LaTeX Math > Configure.
    The LaTeX Math configuration page is displayed.

  2. Click Edit.

  3. In the Math Block Template box specify the border of the body as solid.
    NOTE You can change the template as per your requirement. In this example, we are only changing the border style.

  4. Click Save.

Step 4

Navigate to the documentation page where the LaTeX Math Block macro was created to view the changes. 
The update is automatically applied to all LaTeX Math Block macros on all pages and spaces.
