Epic Roll-Up Report displays the progress of all the epics across projects. The summarised view shows the epic details such as Issue Type, Issue Key, Status, Summary and progress metrics % of issues completed, % of time spent, original estimate, remaining efforts, and actual time spent. To expand and collapse the report view, click >. The expanded view displays the report for all epics at the story level with details.

The Roll-Up report can further be tailored and detailed as required by selecting the fields from the Custom panel. The custom panel displays the below options.

Columns - Columns drop-down displays the list of Jira fields such as Text fields, Date fields, and Numeric fields (Roll-Up). You can select the fields to add to the Roll-Up report. The fields with a symbol displays help text on mouseover. To remove a field from the report result, deselect the field from the Columns drop-down.
Projects - Projects drop-down lists all the projects. By default, the Roll-Up report displays the result from all the projects. You can select projects to view report for specific projects.
Epic Status - Epic Status lists the status option To Do, In Progress, and Done to filter the report result based on status.
Include Epic numeric values - Select Epic numeric values to include the numeric values for all epics in the report result.
Include Sub Tasks - Select Include Sub Tasks to include the subtask for all epics in the report result.
Time display unit - Time display unit provides the option to display time in Hours, Days, and Pretty unit.

Epic Roll-Up Report

Actions allows you to save selections for the report type, download the report and refresh the report result.

Once you change your selections for report result, the Save icon turns red. The red mark save icon indicates that the selections are not saved. To save your selection configurations of report type for the next reload, refer Save Roll-Up Reports Selections.
To download the result of Roll-Up Report type, click Export to excel. The report is downloaded in excel format and can be viewed in downloads.
To refresh the report, click Refresh.

Embedded Epic Roll-Up Summary

The Roll-Up Reports app adds a new field Epic Roll-Up Summary on the issue details page. To view embedded Epic Roll-Up Summary, follow the below steps.

Navigate to Epic details page.
To view Epic Roll-Up Summary, on the Epic details page, click Open Epic Roll-Up Summary.
The Epic Roll-Up Summary displays the summarised view of the epic fields such as Estimated, Remaining, Logged, Story Points, Issues.
Click on any of the field graph to view the summary details.
