Export to Cloud
This provides a guide on migrating assets from on-premise to the cloud. Users can now seamlessly transfer their assets by utilizing the "Export for Cloud" feature, eliminating the need for manual formatting tasks such as adjusting headers and organizing data.
Prerequisites
Before initiating the migration process, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
Access to the on-premise asset repository.
Permission to export assets.
Properly configured cloud environment.
To export for Cloud:
Choose Assets > Asset Navigator.
Refine your search, then choose the Export menu.
Choose "Export for Cloud" from the dropdown menu.
Select the delimiter, and click Download.
The system will generate a cloud-compatible export file.
For successful on-premise to cloud import, it is crucial that the asset types and attributes are pre-configured in the cloud environment. If the required asset types and attributes already exist in the cloud, users can directly proceed with the import process.
