  2. Select the custom field that you want to add.

Scenario 1:

The popup will look like this for every other custom field:

  • In this case, create a Name for the custom field and click Save.

Scenario 2:

Meanwhile, if you are adding the SLA Dates Custom Field, which displays the chosen SLA date of an issue, the popup will look like this:

  • In this case, create a Name for the custom field.

  • Select the type of date (SLA Start, SLA End, or SLA Target) you want to see on the custom field.

  • Select the SLA order – If there are multiple SLAs for the same issue, it can be configured to pick the first or last date.

  • Click Save.

  1. The new custom field will now appear in the list.

Time to SLA creates SLA Panel, Time to SLA, and Overdue custom fields upon installation; however, others need to be created manually (i.e., SLA Indicator, SLA Overview, SLA Dates). After you've added those, you'll need to add them to the screens where you want them to appear.

How to Add Custom Field to Screens

1. Go to SLA Fields.

2. Click the cog icon in the row of a custom field that you would like to display on screens.

3. Click Screens.

4. The Jira Screens page will appear.

5. Tick the screens that you want to display the custom field on.

6. Click Update.
