Public comment means that the comment is visible to all Jira users and not restricted to any user, group or role.
To create a First/Last Public Comment User Custom Field
- Navigate to Jira Admin > Add-ons > Enhancer Plugin Menu > Custom Field Configuration and go to the User tab.
- Click on the button.
- Fill in the dialog box:
- Pick JEP - First Public Comment User or JEP - Last Public Comment User in the custom field drop-down menu.
- Create a name for the custom field.
- And then click on the Add Custom Field button. That's it.
This custom field can be used to sort or search in issue navigator.
