Let's create a table with a checklist that contains special characters such as emoticons.

Ingredients

Apps

Scaffolding

Macros

Date Data, List Data, List Option, Number Data, Table Data

Instructions

  1. Insert a Table Data macro.

  2. Name the template Mood Table.

  3. Inside the Table Data macro create a table like the one in the following image:

  4. Using the Date Data, Number Data, List Data, and List Option macros, fill in the cells of the Mood Table in the Table Data macro, as in the following image:

  5. Choose each List Data macro and click Edit.

The options are to be displayed as checklists under the Type pull-down menu.

  1. Click check.

  1. Remember to insert a relevant emoticon ((smile)(sad) or (big grin)) in each List Option macro and then give each macro a corresponding value, such as Happy, sad, or Excited.

  1. Click Edit Contents.

  1. Fill in the data in the Mood Table.

Remember to use unique Names to avoid conflicts.
