This article helps you to configure your Gmail as an SMTP profile to trigger outgoing emails from Jira and Confluence.

Instructions

  1. Go to your Gmail Settings by clicking on the “Manage your Google Account“ option.

  2. Search for App Password in the search bar and click on it. Post that type of account password for the confirmation. Clock on the select app option and select Other
