When none of the default prioritization templates works for you, you can always create a new one from scratch or edit existing ones.
When creating your own prioritization templates you need to define prioritization metrics and a formula that calculates the final score of the issue.
To make your prioritization template unique Foxly gives you the option to select from different types of metrics. You just pick the one that’s best suited for your use case.
Available metric types:
⭐️ Rating - creates 5 stars rating
🏷 Label - creates a set of labels with custom names and colors
✏️ Short text - creates a dropdown with text values (same as Labels but without the colors)
🔢 Number - Creates the field that accepts a number input (supports 4 decimal numbers)
Create a new template
From Project menu navigate to the Priorities tab.
Click on the Customize button the top-right corner
Click on the Select prioritisation template dropdown
Select + Create a new template option
Give your template a name
Click on Save changes
The template is now created and applied to your project.
