Adding an Advanced Database Row Field

Adding a new Advanced Database Row Field is as easy as adding any other custom field.

To do that:

  1. Log into your Jira as Admin.

  2. Go to Administration > Custom Fields > Add Custom Field, and select Advanced Database Row Field from the list.

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Adding Configurations

After you have added the custom field, it's time to add some configurations.

  1. Log into your Jira as Admin.

  2. Go to Administration > Custom Fields.

  3. Select Configure contexts for the Advanced Database Row Field.

  4. To manage the configuration, click the Edit Field data settings link from the configuration screen.

  5. Here you can configure the field very easily using the Configuration Wizard, or you can use Advanced Configuration to manually configure the field.

What's Next

Once you've added a configuration, you can start using the field.

You can always revisit the field configuration to edit it by clicking on the Configure button from the Configuration details panel.

You can always completely overwrite the field configuration by running the Configuration Wizard again.
