Integrations supplied by vendors
See the list of apps that integrate with Configuration Manager using the Configuration Manager Service Provider Interface (SPI).
Integration types
The App Integrations platform currently allows the following types of vendor-supplied integration:
Server-to-server - Jira Server/DC app integrates with Configuration Manager for Jira (CMJ). This integration type allows users to move app configuration and data between Jira Server/DC instances.
Server-to-cloud - Jira Server/DC app integrates with CMJ, and its respective cloud app integrates with CMJ Cloud. This integration type allows users to move app configuration and data from Jira Server/DC instances to Jira Cloud sites.
Cloud-to-cloud - Coming soon! We're also working on adding the cloud-to-cloud integration type to our platform. It will allow Jira Cloud users to move their app configuration and data between cloud sites.
In the table below, you’ll find all the vendors that integrated their apps with CMJ. You'll also see the integration type and the app version when the integration was enabled.

*Insight - Asset Management Support
Configuration Manager for Jira currently supports only the Custom Fields integration type for Insights - Asset Management. This means that only the Insight custom field configurations will be migrated with a snapshot. Insight’s global configuration and custom field values in issues won’t be migrated because the necessary SPI handlers haven’t been implemented yet.
Built-in integrations
Built-in integrations are integrations shipped with CMJ and available only for some of the most widely used Jira apps. Our team implemented this integration option for much older versions of these apps.
Built-in integrations are no longer supported.
Most apps with built-in integrations had already switched to vendor-supplied integrations. See these apps below.
App | Vendor | App Version | Since Configuration Manager Version | Notes | |

*Script Runner support
Configuration Manager for Jira currently supports all post functions, validators, and transitions provided by Script Runner. This means when these scripted items reference other configuration objects (e.g., a property for a custom field, role, status, resolution, etc.) Configuration Manager will resolve these references and handle them appropriately during deployment – i.e., they will be adequately matched or created on the target system. Configuration Manager does not move the script files themselves.
Start your app's integration
Atlassian vendors or developers interested in integrating an app with CMJ can check the documentation to access the effort and review the steps for integration. We've built step-by-step developer guides that will take you through all the details of the integration process. The integration developer guides are located at our Vendor Integration Corner.
We're here to help and will gladly support all vendors and developers throughout their integration efforts. Contact the support team for guidance.
Keep us posted
If you're an Atlassian vendor or developer and already have integrated your app with CMJ, please notify our support team so we can add the app to the list here.
Contact your app vendors
If you're a Jira admin wanting to migrate the data of an app not integrated yet, contact the app vendor with а request for integration with CMJ.
