This article provides a workaround to edit or delete time entries for users other than yourself.

\uD83D\uDCD8 Instructions

Make sure to have Jira administrator permissions to perform the below steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Issues > Time tracking and change the Time tracking provider from Appfire Time Tracking to Jira-provided time tracking.

  1. Navigate to the respective project > Project Settings > Permissions to make sure to have Edit all worklogs, and Delete all worklogs permissions besides Work On Issue permissions.

  2. Open the respective Jira issue to edit or delete the time entries logged by other users under the Work
    log section as shown below.



  3. Once the changes are reflected, make sure to revert the Time tracking provider back to Appfire Time Tracking.

  • These steps are applicable to Cloud and Datacenter. Recommend you follow the steps in staging or test instance before proceeding with production instance.
