Creating multiple tasks/subtasks based on the number of custom field values selected

This document explains how to create multiple tasks/subtasks depending on custom field values selected when the multi-select custom field is having similar values with matching pattern.

Sample custom field values:

Appfire
Appfire Apps
Bobswift
Bobswift Apps
Wittified
Wittified Apps

Instructions:

Add a post-function on the desired transition with customfield_Id or custom field name in the create multiple issues field as shown in the below screenshot.
And now execute the transition, it will create issues depending on the number of custom field values selected.

When we try creating multiple issues depending on custom field values selected (multi-select) which are having similar values then it is recommended to pass the condition in Create multiple issues column, instead of giving the conditions based on the regex pattern.

In the case of using a regex pattern for the condition field to create only one issue based on the value selected, we need to have multiple post functions which need nⁿ combination of each value being selected on the field.
