Release notes - 3.3.x

Release dateFeb 19, 2026

We’re thrilled to announce the latest release of Dataplane Reports, version 3.3.0.

This release introduced compatibility with Atlassian Forge for cloud migrations, and a new Administration REST endpoint to help administrators audit and analyze saved Dataplane reports.

3.3.2-jira10

Release dateApr 10, 2026

Enhancements

  • Improved JCMA migration for Jira dashboards
Dataplane Reports now delivers a smoother, more resilient migration experience when using the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA) to migrate to Dashboard Hub Pro for Jira Cloud. Migrations can now handle native Jira dashboards with inconsistent or corrupted data without interruption. The affected dashboards are skipped automatically, so the rest of your migration completes successfully.

New features

Automatic Report Clean-Up for Dataplane Reports

Jira admins can now delete Dataplane reports using the automatic report clean-up feature. The clean-up process runs daily at 12:00 A.M and deletes any report that has not been used or modified in 90 days or more. This applies to all Dataplane reports in your instance, regardless of report owner.

To use the Clean Reports option:

  1. Go to DATAPLANE REPORTS > Configuration > Clean Up.

  2. Select the Clean Reports checkbox.

The Dataplane Reports Clean Up feature selected in the Configuration page.

Features

JCMA compatibility for Forge

This version of Dataplane Reports is compatible with Forge, Atlassian's latest cloud platform for Marketplace apps.

This update ensures compatibility with the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA) and supports customers migrating from Data Center to Cloud. It provides improved alignment with Atlassian’s modern cloud architecture and prepares Dataplane Reports for future platform enhancements.

Administration endpoint for reports

We’ve introduced a new administration REST endpoint that allows Jira System Administrators to analyze all saved Dataplane reports in their instance.

This endpoint was designed to provide insights into report configurations that are otherwise difficult to extract using SQL queries, due to the internal XML-based report configuration architecture.

The new endpoint enables administrators to identify reports that may require review during migrations (for example, when moving from Dataplane to Dashboard Hub), including:

  • Reports with only one “Segment By” option supported

  • Reports segmented by project category or Jira issue key

  • Reports with Customizer Scripts

  • Reports with Multiple Pie Charts

  • Reports shared with Jira groups or project roles

Using Dataplane’s native report rendering logic, this API ensures confidence and accuracy of the returned information.

Enhancements

  • Build pipeline and test coverage improvements

Fixes

  • Minor stability and performance improvements.
