Removed the URL user and URL user password parameters

The URL user and URL user password parameters have been removed from Excel for Confluence. They are no longer available in the Excel macro editor.

Use Profile to configure Excel macro

The Excel for Confluence macro now uses only Profile to access Excel data from a remote location without exposing any sensitive information. To create a Profile, refer to How to create a profile with URLs.

Supports the pre-configured macro functionality

• The removal does not impact the existing Excel macro configurations or pre-configured Excel macros using the URL user and URL user password. The Confluence page retains the values of the URL user and URL user password parameters in the Storage Format.

• Retain, modify and copy the pre-configured Excel macro. To know more, and plan the Excel macro configuration, refer to Removed the URL user and URL user password parameters.
