The Periodic Met vs. Exceeded SLA Chart gadget visually represents SLA performance using a bar chart, categorized by status. The horizontal axis displays dates within a selected time period, either weekly or monthly.
This guide will walk you through the steps to add and configure the Periodic Met vs. Exceeded SLA Chart gadget on your Jira dashboard.
What this gadget displays
SLA instances: This gadget counts SLA instances, not issues. If an issue has multiple SLAs, each is counted separately. If an issue has multiple SLAs, all are included in the count.
Time period comparison: You can track SLAs met vs. exceeded over time.

Add the Periodic Met vs. Exceeded SLA gadget
Go to the Dashboard you want to add the gadget to.
Click Add gadget or Add a new gadget.
Search for
TTS - Periodic Met vs Exceeded SLA
.Click Add Gadget.The TTS - Periodic Met vs Exceeded SLA gadget configuration screen appears.
Configure the gadget:
Select a Filter or a Project to pick which issues to include in the gadget. You MUST pick only one filter or one project.
Select SLAs to include in the count, or leave it blank if you want to include all SLAs.
Select a Time Period for the gadget to display. It can be weekly or monthly.
Enter the number of days in the past from the selected time period for which you want to collect data.
Select which date of the SLA (Start Date, End Date, Target Date) should be considered while grouping the data.
Tick Include Progressing SLAs if you want to see SLAs that are still in progress on the graph.
Select Graph Type (Stacked, Distributed). (See graph types below.)
Create a Custom Gadget Title. This custom title will be displayed on top of the gadget.
Select Refresh Interval.
Click Save.
Your gadget is now added to the dashboard.
