Simple layout

Selecting the Simple layout in the Template settings tab provides a simplified version of the template editor, focusing only on essential options for quick and easy card design.

This layout lets you specify the content and arrangement of individual cards clearly and efficiently.

Prerequisites

• This area is accessible only to Jira Administrators and Project Administrators.

Configuration

Open

Print on both sides

To design both sides of a card, select Print on both sides. Two separate columns will appear, allowing you to configure the fields for the front and back of your cards independently.

Field selection

To add fields to the canvas, select them from the dropdown list. Check the checkbox next to the field name, and it will be added to the design. 

Field order

You can rearrange the selected fields by dragging them into their new positions on the canvas. Click the X next to a field name to remove it from the layout.

Top-left image

Besides fields, you can add a unique element to the top-left corner of your cards:

• Issue type icon: Displays the same icon seen on Jira screens.

• Assignee avatar: Shows the profile picture of the person assigned to the issue.

• QR Code: Generates a scannable code linking directly to the Jira issue page.

• KR Code: Required for the Agile Cards Scanner to recognize multiple cards simultaneously.

Font size

Adjust this setting to control the font sizes used for displaying field content on your cards.
