How to remove all tasks in Bamboo Job using Bamboo Command Line Interface (CLI)

This article explains how to remove all tasks in a Bamboo Job using the Bamboo Command Line Interface (CLI) app.

Instructions

Use the runFromTaskList and removeTask actions to remove all the tasks from a Bamboo Job. Refer to the sample command as follows:

--action runFromTaskList --plan DEMO-TEST --job JOB1 --common "--action removeTask --id @taskId@ --plan @plan@ --job @job@ "

In the mentioned action:

  • --plan value refers to the plan name in Bamboo.
  • --job value refers to the job name in Bamboo.
  • --id value refers to the Bamboo task id.

It is recommended to test the commands in a non-production environment or run the action with --simulate parameter to verify the behavior before deploying.
