How to retain the original dates of work logs when cloning an issue using Clone Plus for Jira

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to retain the original date of work logs when cloning an issue using the Clone Plus for Jira app.

Instructions

Log in to Jira as an administrator and navigate to
> Manage apps.
Select Clone Plus under the BOB SWIFT CONFIGURATION section from the left side bar.
Select the Clone plus properties tab and then select Edit.
Add following parameters in the configuration properties and click Make Active:
1. For Clone+ and Clone ++ operation:
  retainWorklogsOriginalDate= true
2. For Custom1 (Clone + and Clone ++) operations:
  
  1.retainWorklogsOriginalDate= true 1.plus.retainWorklogsOriginalDate = true

For example, if an issue's Work Log is 12/Aug/20, the native clone operation copies the clone date as the Work Log entry and shows 18/Aug/20 as follows:

Once the issue is cloned using the app, the cloned issue retains the original date of Work Log as follows:
