Problem Statement

Adding users to a group using Jira Command Line Interface (Jira CLI) is giving a remote error.

Error Message 

Remote error: You cannot add users to groups which are not visible to you.

Cause

The error is caused because of the mismatch of the group name/user name 

Solution

Make sure the group name (which you are providing) matches exactly (case-sensitive) with the group name in Jira.
