How to insert current date in date field for Run Self Service Reports forms

This article explains how to capture the current date in a date field for Run Self Service Reports for Confluence forms.

Instructions

1. Log into your Confluence instance.

2. Navigate to the required page and click 

    to edit the page contents.

3. Insert Run with a user form and parameters macro to build the form.

4. Click Edit to open the macro settings window:
   

   
   
   

5. Click Add my first field to add fields to the form. Ensure the Field type is selected as Date and Field value as $current_time(dd/MM/yyyy), as mentioned in the below screenshot:
   

   
   
   

6. Click Save settings and Save the page. The form is displayed with the current date as value for date field:
