How is an Agile Board Template used to create an agile board

This article instructs how an Agile Board Template is used to create an agile board.

Instructions

• Log in to Jira as a user.

• Navigate to Boards > Create Board From Template. The following pop-up is displayed:
  

• Select a board template from the Select a Board Template drop-down, or click browse all templates to see a list of available templates and select the required template. 

• Choose one of the following options to populate the data on the board and click Next:
  

  
  If you selected:

  • Data from existing Project(s): 

    • Select a project(s) and click Create Board.

    • It creates a board based on the selected template and project.

    • The created board is displayed as shown: 
      

  • Data from existing JQL Filter: 

    • Select Filter Name from the drop-down. Or, you can also click browse all filters that displays the list of available filters and select the required filter.

    • Click Create Board.
      

    • It creates a board based on the selected filter.

    • The board is displayed as shown:
