KB : How to change issue type for Chat Service Requests

Purpose

This page describes the step-by-step instruction on how to change the issue type in the Chat for JSM application.

Use case

The guide has been prepared to help users change the issue type for Chat Service Requests once they already choose one during initial configuration and now they want to change to a different one. The request for how to do it was initialized by the customer under https://appfire.atlassian.net/browse/SUP-18066

Runbook

If order to change the issue type, please go to Project Settings > Request Types > remove current Chat request type from there

Once it is done - go back to Chat Settings and pick a new issue type
