How to resolve "No record of approvals in the state" when using Document Approvals macro in the Comala Document Management app in Cloud

This article explains how to resolve the issue when no approval record is showing in the Document Approvals macro.

Issue

  • "No record of approvals in the 'Approved' state" after the page has been approved.

Symptoms

  • Based on the JSON code, no approvals were added in the Approved state.

  • The user only added the approval users in the Review state.

Resolutions

  1. Add the Approvals in the Approved state from the Workflow Builder.

  2. Choose either of the 3 options available for the Reviewers.

  3. Edit the Document Approval Macro and set "Review" in the State field.

NOTE:
If a state is not specified in the macro editor, transitioning the workflow to a different state will display the approval information only for the current state.
As the current state is Approved and this state does not have any approval, it will display blank.
