FAQ: Deactivated users and filtering in the Manage Report Owners

Summary

This article addresses common questions and current limitations regarding how deactivated users are displayed in the Manage Report Owners section and the availability of filtering and pagination options for those users.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why are my deactivated users showing as "invalid users"?

In some views, particularly within the Manage Report Owners section, deactivated users are labeled as "invalid users." This typically occurs due to limitations in resolving user details for accounts that are no longer active in Jira.

Can I filter reports or the Manage Report Owners list by a specific inactive user?

Currently, there is no direct filter to search for a specific inactive user (for example, by name) on the Manage Report Owners section. While there is a general All deactivated users category, individual filtering for these users is not yet available.

Is it possible to increase the page size in the Manage Report Owners view?

At this time, the page size in the Manage Report Owners section is fixed. There is currently no option to adjust the number of records displayed per page (pagination settings).

Are there plans to improve these features?

Yes. An internal enhancement request has been created for our development team to:

  • Add specific filtering options for inactive users.

  • Improve the pagination and page-size controls in the Manage Report Owners section.

As these are enhancement requests, we do not have a specific ETA for implementation.

We will communicate updates through the app's release notes page.
