How to set the Session active in Dashboard Hub Pro

Question

Can the Dashboard created by the Dashboard Hub App be kept open in a browser tab throughout the day without timing out?

Solution

Dashboard Hub Pro does not enforce its own session timeout. User sessions are managed by Atlassian Cloud, and as long as the Jira session remains active, Dashboard Hub will continue running without interruption.

Dashboard Hub is designed to support long-running sessions:

  • Most dashboard gadgets auto-refresh every 3 minutes by default.

  • This behavior helps keep sessions active throughout the day.

  • Administrators can customize refresh intervals under:

    Jira Settings > Apps > Dashboard Hub > Global Settings > Performance Options
