How to check for web proxy settings on your computer

Computers running Windows 10

1. Click on Start and then on the gear icon (Settings.) at the left.

2. In the Settings window, click on Network & Internet.

3. In the left menu, look for Proxy:

Here you will find all the settings for any proxy servers that you may have configured on your Windows Computer.

Computers with older versions of Windows

If you are using an older version of Windows, you can find these options in the Internet Options inside the Control Panel:

2. Search for Internet Options.

3. In the dialog, open the Connections tab and click on Lan Settings:

1. Click on the Apple logo at the top and select System Preferences.

2. Click on Network.

3. At the bottom, click on the Advanced option:
