TFS4JIRA Cloud Native error message - Field: status value: {status name} is not in value mapping and default is set to Raise Error

Problem

Synchronization fails due to a missing status. However, the status name in the error message doesn’t exist in the Jira workflow.

Solution

1. From Jira, open Administration > Issues > Statuses.

2. Check whether or not the status identified in the error message is present.

   1. If not, it’s possible the status was deleted or renamed.

3. If the status was removed from the workflow, deleted from Jira, or renamed:

   1. Re-add it to the workflow using the name identified in the error message.

4. Go to TFS4JIRA Cloud Native and ensure the status is now visible and available for mapping.

5. Run the synchronization again.
