How to Retrieve Confluence Storage Format for a Confluence Data Center App
When Confluence pages do not work as expected in a data center (DC), it is most time-efficient to create a small example page that demonstrates the problem precisely. This allows for a successful reproduction of any underlying issue.
Steps
Start by creating a simple page that demonstrates the problem you are encountering.
Ensure the page content is concise, focusing on reproducing the issue.
Save the page to preserve the example once the content is set up.
Access the page source:
Navigate to the page's toolbar, then click the Tools menu.
Select View Storage Format from the dropdown to access the page's source code.
Copy the displayed source code from the Storage Format view.
Paste this source code into the support ticket. It should look similar to the following format:
</ac:structured-macro><ac:structured-macro ac:name="multiexcerpt-macro" ac:schema-version="1" data-layout="default" ac:local-id="be370e0e-de7a-4d75-9448-e4f67c5180ab" ac:macro-id="d325cde0-c372-4e04-a506-a132abc6a7d7">
