How to check in logs if 'Allow Javascript' is enabled or disabled in the HTML for Confluence app

This article helps users to check in logs if ‘Allow Javascript' is enabled or disabled in the HTML for Confluence app. This is particularly useful when users want to confirm whether the 'Allow Javascript' option was enabled or disabled.

Steps

  1. Log in as a Confluence administrator and navigate to Confluence administration > Logging and Profiling.

  2. Go to Add Entry under Logging and Profiling.

  3. Add org.swift.confluence at the DEBUG level and save the setting.

     

  4. Navigate to Troubleshooting and support tools > Create a support zip to create a node log file.

  5. In the log file, search for allow javascript, and see the details 'retrieved restrictJavaScript: on' as shown below.
