Database Exporter for Jira Cloud app allows users to export the Jira cloud data for external use. Sometimes, you may need to change the configuration details, such as the linked Jira user, without reinstalling the app. This article guides you through the steps to update these details.

Steps to update the database connection details without reinstalling the app

  • Log in to your Jira Cloud instance.

  • Navigate to Jira > Settings > Apps > Database Exporter.

  • Click Edit (Edit.jpg). This takes you to the database connection details form.

  • The connection details form displays the database connection and user details or service account the app uses.

  • Update the required fields with the new user or account information you want to link with the app.

  • To save the changes, click Save and Continue.
