Meet the new BigPicture navigation
A faster, smarter, and more intuitive way to work is here. We’ve redesigned BigPicture navigation to give you a smoother experience and better access to what matters most.
→ Discover what’s new, explore key improvements, and review feature name updates on the New navigation page.
→ The rollout will happen gradually, and the previous navigation will be retired in September 2026.
What can be prioritized
What can be prioritized (old navigation)
In the Priorities module, you can prioritize these key elements:
Tasks (Jira work items)
BigPicture boxes
Goals (OKRs)
You can easily switch between the tabs and manage priorities among tasks, boxes, and goals in one place.
The template you choose will be consistently applied across all tasks, boxes, and goals.
Prioritize tasks
BigPicture basic tasks aren’t displayed in the Priorities module, and you can’t prioritize them.
Under the Tasks tab, you can prioritize individual Jira work items added to the box you’re in.
To see Jira work items from all boxes, open the Main box in the Priorities module.
Prioritize BigPicture boxes
Under the Boxes tab, you can prioritize all child boxes of the box you’re in.
To prioritize all BigPicture boxes, open the Main box in the Priorities module.
Prioritize goals (OKRs)
Under the Goals tab, you can prioritize Objectives and Key Results from the OKR module linked to the box you’re in.
If you don’t see OKRs, go to the OKR module and make sure they are linked to the box.
To prioritize Objectives and Key Results from all boxes, open the Main box in the Priorities module.
Filters
The filtering options differ depending on the tab (Tasks, Boxes, Goals). See the Filter and search priorities page to learn more.
Limitations
If a prioritization template is based on Jira fields, it will not be applied to boxes and goals. You’ll see the following message.
The priority poker game is not available for boxes and goals.
The Priorities module can display up to 1,000 boxes and goals (OKRs). To view and prioritize more, apply filters to narrow down the results.
