Convert milestone to Jira work item
Convert milestone to Jira work item (old navigation)
In the Gantt module, you can convert a milestone to a Jira issue (and a Jira issue to a milestone). Milestones cannot be converted to JIra issues in bulk.
A Jira issue converted from a milestone will have the start and end dates the same as the date of the milestone it was converted from.
Only milestones that were created or converted from basic tasks can be converted to Jira issues.
Context menu
Right-click a milestone or a diamond on the timeline to prompt the context menu.
Select Convert to Jira issue.
On the Convert Basic task to Jira issue screen:
select Jira project from the dropdown
select Jira issue type from the dropdown
Provide Jira issue details.
Click Create to finish the process.
Editor slider
Select a milestone or a diamond on the timeline to highlight it and prompt the editor slider.
From the editor slider, select More actions (…) > Convert to Jira issue.
On the Convert Basic task to Jira issue screen:
select Jira project from the dropdown
select Jira issue type from the dropdown
Provide Jira issue details.
Click Create to finish the process.
Convert milestone to Jira work item (new navigation)
