Board elements

The Board module includes four elements:

  • Module header

  • Timeline with markers

  • Board with tasks and dependencies

  • Infobar:

    • Backlog

    • Dependencies

    • Warnings

Adjust the view

Your task cards can be presented in different ways to help you during the planning and monitoring of your work.

Show objectives

Integrate the Objectives with the Board module and display team objectives and committed tasks in one view using the Board to see how each team contributes to achieving the objectives. 

Layout

There are three ways to display tasks:

  • Compact

  • Regular

  • Wide

Switch to compact mode if you want to fit more cards on the screen. Read more on the Layout page.

Task warnings

To see warnings, ensure the Task warnings option is active, as indicated by a checkmark.

Warning indications will be visible directly on task cards and in the panel on the right under Warnings (in the form of a list).

Totals

Totals will help you plan and monitor the execution of your timeboxes (like PIs and Sprints). You can also use past data to analyze your teams' performance in depth.

Sort cards

Sort task cards by any field added to them in the task card layout. Your card configuration can have a different layout in each box.

Search and filter tasks

The board module can be searched and filtered using the search bar and pre-defined quick filters. You can define more quick filters on the box configuration > Tasks > Quick filters page.

The filter button also affects the backlog in the Infobar. In addition, the Backlog tab in the Infobar has a separate show/hide lower-level tasks button that lets you show either:

  • all tasks

  • show only tasks not planned on a lower level

Aggregation
