OKR types
Overview
OKR types categorize objectives by scope and focus, distinguishing between company-wide, team-specific, and individual OKRs. You can also create custom types for departmental, squad, or any other type of goals.
You can use the OKR type column on the OKR Overview page to filter and view only the OKRs of a specific type.
Permissions
Only permitted users can create, edit, and delete OKR teams:
Jira Admin
In-module Admin
Users in roles with granted Manage OKR types permission (full team management).
Create OKR type
On the Settings > OKR types page, click +Create new OKR type.
Name your OKR and customize colors.
Edit OKR type
On the Settings > OKR types page, click triple dots (…) next to the OKR type you want to edit.
Select Edit.
Make changes.
Save to finish the process.
Delete OKR type
On the Settings > OKR types page, click triple dots (…) next to the OKR type you want to edit.
Select Delete.
Delete to confirm and finish the process.
OKR-type color inheritance
If you check the Enable the inheritance of colors from OKR types by Objective icons option, the icon of the Objectives will inherit the color of the OKR type it is assigned to. This option does not affect the color of the KR icons.
The colored Objectives are visualized on the OKR Overview and OKR Hierarchy pages.
