Goals module

Goals module (old navigation)

Overview

The Goals module is a high-level board based on an agile schedule comprising Program Increments.

You can configure it for Program Increments for a specific duration. Once the board is properly configured, you can set your goals for the coming PI.

There are two types of goals you can add to the goals board:

  • Jira Issue-based goals

  • basic goals

You can also track the status of your goals: see if they are still open, completed, failed, abandoned, etc.

With the SAFe®-based goals, you can effectively manage Program Increments and Iteration goals.

Compared to the Board module, it focuses on high-level planning, including forecasts and commitments, rather than particular tasks.

Also, this module lets you communicate what your Teams are working on to everyone interested.

You must first create sub-boxes (such as Program Increments and Iterations).
