Unscheduled tasks new view
The Backlog panel holds unscheduled tasks, which are:
Tasks without start and end dates defined
Tasks with one date (start or end date defined)
Tasks that are not assigned to any individual, team, or skill
Having those tasks available in the Backlog panel lets you easily assign them by moving a task from the backlog to swimlanes.

To see unscheduled tasks, open the sidebar on the right.
Available columns
The following columns are available in the Backlog panel:

Summary
Start Date
End Date
Assignee
Team
Skills
Original Estimate
Search box
You can find tasks quickly with the search box functionality. The search box operates in two modes:
Text search
JQL search
You can also filter the tasks by the following filters:
No dates
No assignee
No team
You can also choose more than one filter at a time.
Example:
Checking the No team and No assignee checkboxes shows:
Tasks without a team and with an assignee
Tasks without an assignee and with a team
Tasks without an assignee and without a team
Inline edit
You can quickly make changes (for example, add dates, change an assignee, or modify a summary) with inline editing.
Schedule tasks
Move tasks from the Backlog panel
You can schedule tasks by moving them from the Backlog panel. For more information, see the Move tasks page.
Edit missing dates inline
Double-click and complete the missing dates.
Reports new view

The Reports tab displays contextual reports you can show or hide by selecting or deselecting a report in the dropdown menu.
