Summary

If the pipe character is used in a Field Group macro, the Field Group macro and its content does not render properly when the page is used as source in a Live Template macro.

Field Group text disappears when the page is published.

Cause

An issue in Confluence is causing unexpected behaviors when the pipe symbol "|" is used within Scaffolding Field Groups. This has been reported to Atlassian.

Workaround

Currently there is no workaround for this issue, other than to avoid using the pipe symbol "|" in Scaffolding Field Groups.

Resolution

This is currently listed as a bug by Atlassian. No timeline has been provided for fixing this bug.
