Jira gadgets can also be used outside Jira dashboards in Confluence and Wallboards.

Confluence

Other applications, such as Atlassian Confluence, can be configured to use gadgets published by a Jira server. You can include Rich Filter Gadgets in Confluence pages if the Confluence server is configured correctly. Similarly, controller gadgets on a Confluence page on dashboards will affect all other gadgets on the same page that use the same rich filter.

 

Other applications can use the mechanism used by Confluence to display Jira gadgets. The rich filter gadgets might also work there, but we have not tested this.

Wallboards

All rich filter gadgets support Jira wallboards. When displayed on a wallboard, they function the same but will adapt the display to the light-on-dark color scheme. All rich filter gadgets automatically refresh every 15 minutes when displayed in wallboard mode.
