Release notes - 2.5
Release date: Dec 15, 2025
Our team is thrilled to announce the latest release of Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards, version 2.5
Enhancements
Migration improvements
We've enhanced the Rich Filters Data Center to Cloud migration process to make it faster and to better support partial or incremental migrations.
What's new
Use the ID mapping at the source - On DC, only send to the Cloud the dashboards and rich filters for which the related ID mapping (between DC and Cloud) is available in JCMA. This means that the dashboards that have not been migrated and the rich filters whose base Jira filters have not been migrated by JCMA will not be sent to the Cloud, so the app will not attempt to migrate them. This avoids wasting time and resources. Moreover, it prevents ending up with migrated rich filters that have broken Jira filter references on Cloud (that is, the base filter is NOT SET).
New configuration page for the migration on DC - Configure which rich filters and dashboards to migrate under Manage apps > Rich Filters > Cloud migration (JCMA).
For each type of object (rich filter and dashboard), you can choose to migrate:all objects
only specific IDs
all except specific IDs
none
Benefits
Reduces migration payload size
Prevents broken Jira filter references in the migrated rich filters
Gives flexibility to handle non-standard use cases
Improves migration reliability and performance
Less post-migration cleanup required
