Automatic migration of rich filter gadgets

The app now supports the automatic migration of rich filter gadgets from Sever/DC to Cloud with JCMA. Check out the migration documentation page for details.

Improvements in the controller gadget

Custom colors for quick filters

You can now customize the colors of quick filter buttons. When configuring controller gadgets, you can assign a color to each quick filter in the list, including options like All static. The selected color will be used to display the corresponding buttons, allowing you to make particular filters easy to distinguish for users, or to tailor the look to your aesthetic preferences.

Compact footer in dashboards

When displayed in Jira dashboards (but not in Confluence), controller gadgets now have a compact footer with only the essential buttons. It is displayed on the last line of quick filters when there is enough space, thus reducing the height of the gadget. The actions that were previously available through the icons on the left side of the footer (e.g. permalink) are still accessible through the three-dot menu of the gadget (in the upper-right corner).

More compact layout for collapsed sections

Previously, collapsed sections were always displayed starting on a new row. Now, consecutive collapsed sections are laid out as a single row, allowing the controller to be more compact.

New option to hide the JQL button

A new checkbox in the gadget config allows you to hide the “additional JQL” button if required.

Supported Jira Versions

Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards version 2.1 is supported on Jira versions starting with 9.4.0. See Atlassian Marketplace for the latest Jira version compatibility information.

Installation

The app may be installed from the Atlassian Marketplace or the Find new add-ons page of your Jira instance.
