Uninstall using the Universal Plugin Manager

Installing and uninstalling our apps are standard procedures that can be completed using the Universal Plugin Manager (UPM). 

  1. Log in to Jira as an administrator.

  2. Click Administration (Jira Cog.png) and select Manage apps.

  3. In the Atlassian Marketplace section of the left-side menu, click Manage apps.

  4. In the list of user-installed apps, locate Power Custom Fields. You can use the search field to find the app.

  5. Click Uninstall and confirm your choice.

If Power Custom Fields is the only Power Suite app installed on your system (with no other apps using SIL Engine or Power Apps License Manager), you can safely uninstall both dependencies along with Power Custom Fields.

  1. (Optional) Provide feedback on why you uninstalled the app. We analyze feedback and may reach out for more details in order to provide fixes and improve user experience.

Manual uninstall

This method of uninstalling Power Custom Fields is not recommended since it can lead to errors and incorrect app behavior.

You can remove the app completely by deleting the app files from your Jira home\plugins\installed-plugins directory and restarting the Jira instance afterward.
