🚀 Forge Native Adoption
Our app has been fully migrated to Atlassian Forge, delivering improved security, scalability, and compliance. This update ensures smoother performance and seamless native integration within Atlassian’s cloud ecosystem.
Key benefits of running on Forge include:
Enhanced data privacy through Atlassian-hosted compute and storage.
Data residency aligned with the customer’s host product to maintain compliance.
Full control over data egress, enabling customers to monitor and restrict data flow.
⚡ Enhancements
UI & Performance Improvements:
We’ve refined the app’s interface and responsiveness to provide a faster, more consistent experience across Confluence pages.
Accessing Polls
Once the Polls app is installed, you can easily find it under the Apps section in the left navigation panel.
Click Polls to open and start creating or managing your polls, as shown in the screenshot below.
Polls Administration
Polls Administration is now available under Apps.
🔍 Verification Post Upgrade to Version 3.0.0
If you are upgrading from any earlier to version 3.0.0, please verify the app’s functionality by testing multiple polls and pages containing poll macros.
Before verification, check the migration status:
Go to Apps > Polls Administration > Migration Status in the admin section.
Confirm that the migration status is Completed.
The data migration may take some time depending on your app usage (i.e., the number of polls). If you see "No migration data found", please wait for a while and check the migration status again.
Once the migration is complete, proceed with verifying the app data.
Known Issues
Legacy Macros: Polls macros migrated from Data Center may appear as Polls (Legacy). They render correctly once converted to the new Cloud editor.
Rendering Appearance: Polls macros may appear shrunken post-migration. Atlassian is addressing this issue (ECOHELP-88397).
