Permissions types

There are two types of permissions that can be granted to groups:

1. Permission to create new projects from templates.
2. Permission to own a project created from a template. The users in groups granted this permission can be designated as the project lead during the project creation. Please note that:
   • If no group is specified, then the project lead will default to the project creator. 
   • If the group specified only has 1 user, then the project lead will automatically become that user.

Granting permissions to a group

• From the Cog menu , choose Add-ons.
• Locate the Delegated Project Creator section in the left sidebar and choose Project Templates Settings to display the Configure Project Templates Settings page.
• From the Project Creation Permissions tab,
  • Select the group to add from the "Groups to add" drop down.
  • Click Add group to Creators or Add group to Owners.

Revoking permissions from a group

• From the Project Creation Permissions tab, click delete next to the group whose permissions you want to revoke.
