How to get started with Page Approval for Confluence Data Center:
When adding Page Approval to a page or a space, the default Page Approval is added on the page above the page content.
The default Page Approval can be configured in several ways:
Global settings: lets the global administrator configure the display of Page Approval in the instance, including display options on the page and user notifications for approval and acknowledgement events
Space settings: lets the space administrator configure what pages a Page Approval is added to in a space, the users and user groups who are automatically added as approvers or acknowledgers, and expiry
Page Approval macro: lets a page editor configure the macro options for the page in the macro editor when adding Page Approval to a page, including display options on the page, approvers, acknowledgers, notifications, and expiry
