What’s new?

1. Fully customizable OKRs table

The new table structure provides greater control over how data is displayed:

  • Drag and drop columns to create a view that works best for you.

  • Reorder OKRs by dragging and dropping them vertically, allowing for a more intuitive arrangement compared to the previous arrow-based system.

  • Adjust column widths based on your needs.

  • Use the Tree layout to expand all OKRs and view their full structure at once, or collapse them for a more condensed view. By clicking the Save as new view button, this setting can be saved as a custom view for future use.

Column customization:

  • Using Layout > Column layout, you can change the column’s order easily by dragging and dropping.

    image-20250206-091951.png
  • Use checkboxes to show or hide specific columns based on relevance.

  • You can also lock/unlock columns to customize your view. Clicking the lock icon will stick (pin) columns to the left, keeping important data visible while scrolling horizontally.

  • Under Layout > Display settings, you can:

    • Show or hide descendant and ascendant OKRs in filtered views.

    • Display connected Jira issues related to OKRs.

  • Save different table layouts as custom views for quick access.

2. Advanced filtering

Navigating OKRs is now faster and easier with new filtering:

  • A single master period filter replaces the two separate filters used in the previous version.

  • Column header filtering is now synchronized with the main filter, ensuring changes in one are reflected in the other.

  • Predefined filters (such as OKR teams, owners, labels) are always visible, with additional filters available under More filters for deeper customization. In the new experience, you can still use column header filtering as in the old version.

As filters are applied, the Filters button updates dynamically to display all active filters for easy reference.

  • Clear all filters with a single click to reset to the Default view and start fresh.

3. Enhanced saved views management

  • The View dropdown on the left-hand side displays the current applied view, all saved views in the instance, and user favorites.

    image-20250206-093232.png
  • Recently accessed views (up to 5) appear automatically, while clicking Show more views reveals additional saved views or allows searching for a specific one.

  • When first opening the OKR Overview page, the View dropdown defaults to Default. As filters and layouts are adjusted, the label will change to Not saved.

    Screenshot 2025-02-06 at 12.38.30.png
  • You can rename, edit, or delete saved views as needed. Additionally, modifying an existing saved view allows you to either overwrite it or save it as a new view.

    Screenshot 2025-02-06 at 12.39.37.png
  • The View dropdown menu also allows users to:

    • Share saved views via direct links.

    • Edit the view’s name or remove it if no longer needed.

    • Favorite a view by clicking the star icon, making it easier to access later.

Currently, saved views work on OKR Hierarchy, Timeline, or Progress Dashboard views in a test mode. We are actively seeking feedback on using this feature.

4. Improved performance with on-demand loading

For better performance, items in the table now load dynamically as you scroll, instead of all at once.

  • Only visible items are loaded, reducing wait times.

  • Collapsed items' details remain hidden until expanded, further improving speed.

These improvements make navigating large OKR lists much faster, especially for instances with a high number of OKRs.

Enable the new OKRs experience today to utilize the improved table, filtering, and customization options. We’d love to hear your feedback, so reach out with any questions or suggestions!
