New features

Dynamic custom error messages

You can now add a custom error message on a branch in the validator rule builder to help users understand and resolve errors for each step in a rule.

How it works

Custom error messages are optional. They can be defined for the entire rule and on individual blocks or branches.

If a check fails, JSU displays messages in the following ways:

• If a custom block-level message is defined, JSU displays the message on the transition screen when any check in the block fails.

• If no custom block-level message is defined, JSU displays the custom rule-level message on the transition screen, if defined.

• If no custom error messages are defined, JSU displays a default error message.

Note module for rule builders

You can now add notes to the IF/ELSE blocks in our conditions and validators rule builders. This feature lets you describe the details of more complex rules for clarity and more efficient rule management.

To add a note, click the Note icon next to the IF or ELSE IF header, then enter the note in the Note panel. The note summary displays in the IF/ELSE block on the left side of the rule builder.
