Release notes May 5, 2026 (Jira 11)

Release date: May 5, 2026

This release includes improvements and bug fixes for JMWE for Jira Data Center, version 10.0.4.

Improvements

The following improvement is available in this release:

  • Configuration Manager migration support: Configuration Manager for Jira now supports Data Center to Data Center migrations for JMWE shared extensions and actions, including shared actions, shared validators, shared conditions, event-based actions, and scheduled actions.

Before starting a migration, check for shared validators or shared conditions with the same name. Shared validators and shared conditions are identified by name, and items that already exist in the target instance are replaced when they have the same name.

Bug fixes

The following issues are fixed in this release:

  • Groovy linkIssue filter: Added checks to the Groovy linkIssue filter to prevent invalid links, such as work items with multiple parents.

  • JMWE workflow extensions page: Fixed an issue where the JMWE workflow extensions page didn't show extensions.

  • Multiple issue error handling: Fixed error handling for multiple issues in post functions, such as Set issue field, Copy Field Value, and Clear Field Value.

  • Linked issue status condition: Fixed an error that occurred when linked issue status conditions referenced deleted or invalid statuses.

  • UI fixes: Added minor UI fixes.

  • Dependency updates: Updated dependencies.
