The Resolution Counter Custom Field calculates the total number of resolutions based on the resolution field. The issue's resolution field should be changed from EMPTY to a value in order to be counted as a resolution.
To create a Resolution Counter Custom Field
- Navigate to Jira Admin > Manage Apps > Enhancer Plugin For Jira Menu > Custom Fields (JEP).
- Click on the
button. - Click on the Counter tab on the left-hand side of the dialogue.
- Select Resolution Counter, then click Add custom field.
Fill in the dialog box:
- Create a name for the custom field.
- Create a name for the custom field.
- Click on the Save custom field button.
This custom field can be used to sort or search in issue navigator.
