Our team is thrilled to announce the latest release of Clone Plus for Jira.

New features

Clone issue with the parent of the original issue or the parent issue

Clone Plus for Jira Cloud lets you choose to copy the parent field from the original issue when cloning. For example, you can decide whether the cloned user story should belong to the same epic as the original issue.

Additionally, this feature lets you modify the parent hierarchy during cloning. You can set the cloned issue to inherit the grandparent of the original issue (that is, the parent field of the parent issue). For example, cloning a user story as an epic issue type.

Bug fixes

The following bugs are fixed in this release:

• Vulnerability fixes.

• You can now successfully clone an issue with a subtask even when the Rank field has a different name from the migration.

• Previously, the app migration from the data center to the cloud was unsuccessful due to several issues. These issues are now fixed, and you can successfully migrate the app from the data center to the cloud.
